Brentwood Visual's web server employs a firewall designed to block brute-force hacking attempts, where an attacker repeatedly tests a series of common passwords in order to access an email or FTP account. Our firewall is configured to block users based on IP after repeated failures. This stops the hackers, but occasionally it also blocks legitimate email users who have entered an incorrect password. Since the blocking is based on the IP address, any devices sharing your internet connection will also be blocked.

Fortunately, we can permanently unblock your connection if you get blocked. Simply open a support request using the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page. You'll need to include your WAN IP address with your request, which you can find at https://ip-lookup.net. We'll unblock your connection and notify you as soon as possible.
